nvcontainer
nvcontainer.exe is NVIDIA Container, the background host that runs NVIDIA's services (its Display Container, LocalSystem, and NetworkService containers) for the NVIDIA App and the GPU software stack. Seeing several instances of it in Task Manager is normal and by design.
What it does: it auto-starts with Windows and stays resident to support driver features, the overlay, capture, and settings. It is a frequent 'why is this running, and why is it using CPU or GPU' question in support threads, but it is a legitimate part of the NVIDIA software, not a separate program you installed by accident.
If you have NVIDIA software installed, nvcontainer.exe is expected. Its activity is tied to the NVIDIA App and driver features; the detail lives on the NVIDIA App plate.
