Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about Vera's verification platform
Does Vera detect all cheats?
No. Vera provides evidence of system state and activity. It does not claim to detect all cheats or bypasses.
Is Vera an anti-cheat?
No. Vera is a verification platform that collects evidence. It does not block, interfere with, or prevent cheating.
What does Vera collect?
Process names, paths, publishers, loaded drivers, and integrity posture flags. Vera does NOT collect keystrokes, screenshots, personal files, or network traffic.
How does Vera handle privacy?
Creators control what sessions are public. Process data is limited to names and paths. No personal files or sensitive data are collected.
Can I trust what Vera shows?
Everything displayed is raw, unfiltered system data. Vera captures and presents evidence as-is — it does not editorialize or render verdicts.
What are Game Sessions?
Time segments where Vera detected gameplay or streaming activity. They reduce noise and clarify context.
What is Driver-Focused Trust?
Vera inventories loaded kernel drivers and checks them against known-risk lists. Driver matches are flags for investigation, not accusations.
How do I install Vera?
Download the installer from the creator dashboard. Install and provision your device with a one-time token. The agent runs quietly in the background.
Can I see my own data?
Yes. All your sessions and proofs are visible in your creator dashboard. You control what is public.
How do I share a proof?
Make your profile public, then share your proof URL. Viewers can inspect all evidence without login.
What can people learn from processes and drivers?
Processes: A viewer might see that Chrome, OBS, or Discord was running during a game session. Vera does not collect URLs, browser history, page titles, keystrokes, or messages — only the process name, file path, and publisher. Games: A viewer can see that a game like Fortnite ran during a focus window, including when it started and stopped. Vera does not record gameplay video, in-game actions, chat, or your screen. Drivers: A viewer can see loaded kernel driver names, their signing status, and whether they match known-risk patterns. Vera does not read personal files, file contents, or anything stored on your drives. In short: Vera sees what software was present, not what you did with it.
