Field notes

lmiinfo.sys is the kernel driver for LogMeIn (now GoTo), a remote access and support tool. The driver gathers system information for the remote support session. Security researchers documented kernel handle leaks exploitable from a low-privileged context.

It is on the public LOLDrivers list. Not a typical gaming-PC driver. If you use LogMeIn/GoTo for remote support, the driver is expected. If you find it and have no remote support software installed, investigate what placed it there.

What the record shows

lmiinfo.sys is listed as a known-vulnerable driver on the public LOLDrivers project. One distinct binary hash matching this filename is on record.

What this means, plainly
Presence is not proof of misuse. Driver files on the LOLDrivers list commonly ship with legitimate hardware tools, gaming software, or vendor utilities. Their presence is recorded as evidence on a record. It is never treated as a verdict about a person.
