Razer is one of the largest gaming-peripherals brands in PC gaming. Its Synapse configuration suite installs a kernel driver (rzpnk.sys) used for overlay and hardware-control plumbing across nearly every Razer mouse, keyboard, headset, and RGB device. The driver has documented LPE vulnerabilities going back to 2017, plus the well-known 2021 plug-and-play installer story (CVE-2021-44226).
